About Burundi
Burundi is a tiny, landlocked country in Eastern-Central Africa. It has endured civil war, political instability, and extreme social unrest. Burundi has the potential to expand and become much more stable, however the current crisis is putting it on a downhill path. If something is not changed, there is a high risk of genocide that would be completely detrimental to the small progress that the country has been able to make. These factors have impacted the way that Burundi is today, and its ability to be a part of the modern global community.
